Bron Yr Aur (say “bron-yar”) is a family owned and operated micro-brewery located at the gateway to the Cascades - where all outdoor adventure comes to life. The Hattens founded Bron Yr Aur with their beer-infused pizza crust in 2013 and then worked on building the brewery, which opened in 2016. We are committed to creating quality craft beer and pizza, while also providing a place to feel at home where kids and dogs are welcome. We are now expanding into a second location for the production of spirits and sour beers, called Oak Creek Brewstillery (half brewery/half distillery).


The Job

Seasonal Kitchen Positions


Our growing brewery is seeking reliable, energetic kitchen help with open availability to complete our team. Line cooks are expected to deliver excellent customer service at the pass-through window, while meeting any needs the customers may have. This is a part-time hourly position, plus tips, 20-30 hours a week for evenings and weekends. We are also open to someone who just wants to work weekends or less than 20 hours.


Could work into a full-time position with benefits.


Essential job duties and desired skills/permits:

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Food Handlers permit; previous food handling experience preferred

  • Strong customer service skills i.e.) Greet everyone who comes to the window to get their food with a smile and thank them. Treat everyone like family.

  • Ensure that all orders are accurate; able to keep orders organized

  • Work closely with management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience

  • Knowledge of our food, menu, and ingredients used to prepare the meals

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed

  • Sweeping and mopping floors, as required

  • Able to keep kitchen, food stations, prep areas, and food storage clean and orderly

  • Able to stand for long periods of time

  • Cleaning all dishes, work stations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations

  • General food prep knowledge; able to follow recipes

  • Able to fully convey any customer requests with food to the kitchen and address any food allergy concerns

  • Assisting with the unloading of deliveries and lift heavy objects

  • Storing ingredients according to prescribed food safety regulations

  • Reporting all damaged or faulty equipment to the Kitchen Manager

  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Maintaining a positive, upbeat attitude
